Prolific aircraft maker for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Carenado, has released their next aircraft project in the form of the classic Cessna 170. Here’s what you need to know!
A classic Cessna
The predecessor to the modern Cessna 172, the classic Cessna 170 was produced between 1948 and 1956 and was one of the first aircraft to usher in the general aviation era following the end of World War II.
Carenado has offered a regular and tundra version of the aircraft along with their usual 4K texturing, PBR materials, and some interesting options such as an optional GPS navigation system to backup the classic instruments.
The aircraft release has also gotten it’s own trailer on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator channel with the usual array of beautiful scenery next to the beautifully detailed aircraft.
The Carenado C170B is now available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator marketplace for a lower price than some previous offerings coming in at $14.99 USD. Looking forward to checking this one out!
