The latest campaign for this part of the IL-2 series is focused on flying with No 610 squadron and features 8 missions just as the Luftwaffe offensive against Britain has been ramped up and intense fighting in the skies over Kent are taking place.

No 610 squadron is interesting as it was an auxiliary unit that was intended to be filled with volunteers that included company test pilots, ex-RAF pilots, and other experienced pilots. The unit was assigned to 13 Group and moved to Biggin Hill just as the intensity of the campaign heated up. It should be an exciting backdrop for a Battle of Britain based campaign.

Best of all, this is being offered as a free addition to the product.
