Put this one in the quality of life category as Eagle Dynamics unveiled a very cool new feature for the DCS World mission editor – the ability to draw things! Yep. It may not sound cool but this is going to be a potentially very useful feature.
From tank formations to frontlines and more
A new video from Matt Wagner diverges from his usual format and tackles a whole new Mission Editor feature that will let you place various marks, arrows, icons, and labels right onto the F10 key map.
DCS World’s closest combat flight sim competitor, the IL-2 series, has had tools that have enabled mission editors to place down key marks onto the map including frontlines, labels for target zones, and other helpful indicators. Now DCS mission makers will be able to do the same.
Check out the video to see how it all works. Look for this update to come in the near future!
