Black Friday sale round-up!

In the United States, it’s Thanksgiving today and its one of the biggest holiday celebrations in that country and what follows immediately after is the massive pre-Christmas sale that is known as Black Friday. The phenomenon has, thanks to e-commerce, spread around the world and there are an immense number of sales on in the flight sim community right now. These are the ones that I know about and that you might want to take advantage of.

Microsoft announced yesterday that they are doing a massive marketplace sale for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Six days remain in the sale that started yesterday and the note says that there are up to 70% off regular pricing on objects in the marketplace.

Update on Friday the 26th at 8:15 am EST

First update coming right in with two more sales that you should check out. First, Orbx is offering discounts on most of their scenery, aircraft, and expansion packs as well as discounts on many of their third party offerings. Next, the X-Aviation has some modest discounts on a number of products there including some very good deals on the Torquesim BN-2 and smaller discounts on the Torquesim SR-20 and SR-22 series.
