Any news surrounding DCS: F4U Corsair at this point has captured plenty of attention and today we have a small update posted to the DCS World forums by a Magnitude 3 developer that gives us the most information we’ve had in a while on the project. Let’s have a look!
Corsair update

DCS: F4U Corsair developer Magnitude 3 have presented plenty of great looking screenshots over the last several weeks but we haven’t heard too much about the status of the project since their June, 2022 update. Naturally some fans have been asking questions on what comes next and we have a response that gives us the most up to date information on the project.
Posted on the DCS World Forums, Magnitude 3 developer Hiromachi wrote the following in response to questions coming up about the project.

Although the message doesn’t appear to have been intended as an update, it is actually the most up to date information we have and it’s great to hear how things are going.
Obviously some work is still left on the project with the damage model appearing to be a key component still in the works. Submitting the module to Eagle Dynamics for internal testing is a stage that has, in other examples, taken a while to complete so it gives us a sense of where the project is.
