We have updates from the last several weeks from Sim Works Studios who continue to provide weekly updates on their PC-12 project in addition to their work on keeping other projects up to date. The big focus and interest is, of course, on the new PC-12 project.

P-12 updates

The big updates from SWS recently have been mostly about the PC-12. Over a dozen screenshots show off the project’s work in progress efforts that include a cockpit that is now showing off functional avionics, rear seating, panels and hatches that open, and lighting systems that are now working.

SWS also report that they have gotten the aileron-rudder interconnect system of the PC-12 working in the sim together with a realistic yaw-dampener. Work has begun on the cargo and commuter variants of the airplane.

They also report that their sound contractor is headed out to record the audio differences between four and five bladed PC-12s.

Release date projection

Now, the exciting news is that the team are nearly done with their work on the project and estimate that the plane will be “done” in the next 2-3 weeks with sound work being completed by late in June or early in July.

Check out the Sim Works Studios Facebook for detailed updates on the PC-12 and their other currently released aircraft.
