A challenge with DCS World modules, after you’ve learned to fly them, is finding things to do with them and with DCS: F-15E we’ve got some early options that you’re going to want to check out right away. I’m talking about three missions that DCS World mission maker Sedlo has created that will help you enjoy the Strike Eagle that much more. One of those missions is a team-up with the folks at the 10 Percent True podcast.

Missions for Strike Eagle

The first two missions you’re going to want to check out are the Red Flag missions that Sedlo has put together and then adapted to multiple airframes. The F-15E versions of these missions are like all of the rest where you’re put into a realistic Red Flag scenario where flying your mission involves precision timing and careful operation of your combat aircraft to meet the mission goals.

Now, let’s talk about a custom mission that Sedlo has been preparing. Titled ‘Inherent Resolve,’ the mission involves flying a close air support mission that feels reminiscent of the operations flown during the real Inherent Resolve operation a few years back. Here’s the intelligence briefing that’s included with the mission.

Daesh fighters are expected to make a final move on the town of Palmyra this morning after taking the airport late last night. The Syrian Army has retreated to the Palmyra Army Depot and are expected to hold the base against the current Daesh attack. The Palmyra Army Depot is a suspected WMD storage area, and it’s in Syria’s best interest to secure these weapons from being compromised.The State Department and OGA have reached out to the Syrian leadership to offer assistance in securing the WMD but all offers have been declined. The COALITION partners have determined that WMD falling into the hands of DAESH is to be avoided at all cost.
