Microsoft Flight Simulator’s newest airplane is the Mitsubishi MU-2 and its out in the marketplace today. Let’s have a look!

With a 295 knot top speed, 1,260 nautical mile range and 29,590 ft service ceiling, the Mitsubishi MU-2 is certainly an impressive airplane. Its available today in the Microsoft Flight Simulator marketplace.

The aircraft has been developed by iniBuilds and it comes packed with features that include high resolution textures and sound work, and multiple liveries (White, Executive White, Executive Black, Xbox Aviators Club, and Aviators Club).

I’ll be curious to see if iniBuilds supports the Mu-2 with additional liveries via the iniBuilds store app the way that they do with the Airbus A310.

Nice looking aircraft. I remember seeing one startup and taxi out at Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto. The Garrett engines were VERY loud.

  Yeah, but even weirder, they were loud when idling/taxiing… once they put take-off thrust, they actually got quieter. Weirdest sound profile of any aircraft.

  It doesn’t say. It sounds like there are some bugs with the FM so buyer beware. I’ll be looking into it soon.
