Two developers, Just Flight and Thranda, are partnering up to bring a line of general aviation aircraft to X-Plane 12. The announcement, coming out today, shows us their first project and details some of what the two developers plan to accomplish together.
The Duchess is on the way

Just Flight have upgraded some of their X-Plane 11 line to X-Plane 12, however, news had cooled off recently and there were concerns that the rest of the catalogue wouldn’t be receiving the same kind of attention. It looks like Just Flight have found a new way forward, however, thanks to a new partnership with Thranda.
We’ll be working our way through all of our existing X-Plane 11 GA aircraft to upgrade them to this new standard and we plan to have the entire product line completed in the next 12-18 months. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we make progress!

The first aircraft in the series, a Beechcraft Duchess Model 76, will be brought up to X-Plane 12 standards and feature revised textures inside and out with 8K resolution. A tablet interface will enable the ability to revise paint schemes and liveries on the fly (no doubt using some of Thranda’s technology there) and have adjustable visual wear and tear.
Check out the announcement here and have a look at the product page for the not yet available Duchess Model 76. Pricing appears to have already been set at $42.99 USD.
