Sales are aplenty at this time of year and across the flight sim market we’ve got plenty of discounts on all sorts of items. Microsoft Flight Simulator and IL-2 are both on sale. Hardware maker VKB joins in on the sales starting up in a few days while Orbx and iniBuilds are offering discounts through their stores too. If you missed them earlier, DCS World has a sale on right now and I rounded up some other sales from other outlets previously.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is on sale
Microsoft are discounting Flight Simulator with a nice 40% off deal on both their own storefront as well as on Steam. The 40% off deal applies to all versions including the Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe.
IL-2 sale
Most of the IL-2 store is on sale right now with the usual array of deals. Most of the previously released battles are available on sale for $27.99 for Premium and $17.49 for Standard. It’s higher for Bodenplatte with that title’s Premium package offered for $39.99 and $58.49 for Battle of Normandy’s Premium edition. It’s similar for Flying Circus.
All of the Collector Vehicles are up for $6.24 and Collector Planes range from $16.24 down to $4.99. Even the brand new La-5F Series 38 is up for $12.99.
VKB hardware sale
Flight sim hardware maker VKB-Sim will be doing a Black Friday sale starting on November 24th and ending November 27th. The sales, timed in Beijing time, starts at Midnight on the 24th (that should be 11 am Eastern Standard Time and 8 am Pacific Standard) is offering a 10% discount on all purchases.

Sales on the iniBuilds store
The folks at iniBuilds, like the Orbx store, offer sales by developer with 50% off FSRealistic scenery on their store.
There’s also a deal on right now from XWing studios. Those who own Dunedin (NZDN) can get 20% off their latest, Palmerston North (NZPM).
It’s possible that other sales will be offered on the storefront in the coming days.
