Every so often the worlds of flight simulation and very serious real world issues collide and this is what we have here with a free release by Got Friends and a suggested donation to help one of their team members.

Free helicopter with suggested donations

Scott Yaeger, AKA “Jonx” is a key part of the four person team at Got Friends. His father, a disabled veteran, has recently undergone emergency brain surgery and is facing enormous costs and challenges ahead.

The team have developed a helicopter for MSFS that they are offering up for free with suggestions to donate to the cause. Here’s the description of the helicopter.

The Mozzie Mk III is a single-seat, single-engine, open-cockpit ultralight helicopter. Despite its small size and light weight, it is a fully functioning conventional (tail rotor type) helicopter, capable of autorotation.

And what Got Friends is asking for support with:

This project was developed in order to help raise donations for Scott Yaeger’s (Jonx’s Father’s) recent brain surgery. All proceeds will be going directly to his GoFundMe to help his family during this holiday season.

Got Friends product page for the Mozzie Mark III includes a link to a GoFundMe asking for support. At time of writing, donations have been made by 79 people and raised $4,970 USD of a $10,000 goal.
