Coming in on Christmas day, another lengthy update from PMDG once again teases the full reveal of their Boeing 777 simulation for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Here’s a quick summary of what we now know!

Readying the 777

The update starts with praise of PMDG’s visual team who have reportedly outdone themselves with the 777. Previous PMDG products in MSFS have been very impressive and the latest imagery we’re seeing certainly lives up to that expectation. The four images released on Christmas day were taken from Dzerweicki Design Studios’ KPAE Paine Field – the site of Boeing’s Everett assembly plant.

The report also indicates that the beta team have reported 200 “fault reports” with about half being resolved. Performance is also reportedly at nearly the same level as their 737 products which are generally reported by the community as among the better performers in the airliner space.

It’s certainly all good news for widebody Boeing fans. More previews are expected in the coming days and weeks according to the update so I expect we’ll see much more of this as we move into 2024.

  1. Are you going to review the MSFS F-111?

Kind of expensive, but it looks super cool. I hope you get a free copy to try.

    1. I’m looking into it but I think the next military MSFS airplane I look at is going to be Just Flight’s Vulcan.

      1. Well, the Vulcan is pretty cool…

But not as cool as the F-111. 🙂
