The latest developer shots from Combat Pilot featuring updated images of their Wildcat and Zero models have been posted over the weekend on the official Discord. Here’s a quick look!

Zero and Wildcat

The classic A6M Zero and F4F matchup is at the core of Combat Pilot’s first two aircraft. We’ve seen shots of both already but these are hot off the presses.

Executive Producer Jason Williams posted them over the weekend. Here’s what he said

The Wildcat external is almost there guys. Here’s a quick render from Chris. He’s doing a fantastic job on it. Next DD will be around Feb. 1st and in February we’ll announce some other things as well. Have a great weekend everyone.

Will be looking forward to the update! Check out the Combat Pilot Discord if you haven’t already.

  1. This is what I’m talking about! Even though I’ve been spending more time in Cold War and Gen 4 planes recently – mostly Cold War – and having a great time, I’m really just a Stan for the warbirds! Apropos of nothing, I’d really like it if they added a ‘fake’ autopilot, like the one in the Huey, to the warbirds. One of the reasons I’m not flying them as much is the commute across the channel. If I only have an hour or so to ‘fly’, getting to height and crossing over takes 3/4 of that time. Yes, yes. Immersion and it’s reality etc etc. But you wouldn’t have to use it.. 😀 There is a mod that kinda allows this with the Allied planes, but, through no fault of the mod maker, it still allows the plane to crash if I fast forward too much and the plane hits some wind or turbulence, and the creator hasn’t done the trick with the German planes. Sad face emoji.
