Two new pieces of Microsoft Flight Simulator content have just been released by Microsoft and Asobo today. We’ve got the latest in the Local Legend Series with iniBuilds rendition of the Short SC.7 Skyvan. Then we have European Cities II, also known as City Update 7, bringing six new photogrammetry rendered cities from around Europe. Let’s have a look!
Local Legend 16: Short SC.7 Skyvan
It’s not a beautiful airplane by any stretch of the imagination but if you’ve been to an airshow and seen a paratrooper team drop out of an airplane, you may have seen one of these small utility oriented airplanes. I know I certainly have! The Skyvan has short takeoff and landing capability, a large rear cargo door, and is ideally suited to rough operations all over the world. Sixteen liveries are included:

- Military – Green
- Military – Green Camouflage
- Military – Grey
- Skydive – White
- Skydive – Clownfish
- Skydive – Pink

I love the goofier options are mixed in here with some more serious selections. Both the goofy and serious are representative of real world liveries too which just goes to show that pilots and the maintainers of aircraft like these have a terrific sense of humour!

City Update 7: European Cities II
