Developed by iniBuild in partnership with Microsoft, the An-225 for Microsoft Flight Simulator has just received an update that fixes a few bugs on the aircraft. Let’s have a quick look!

Antonov update

The An-225, one of the largest aircraft ever built, is something of a legend and that was before the only flying example was destroyed in 2022. Fortunately the digital version lives on and its just been updated in v1.0.8.

One of the notable updates is memory optimization which should improve framerates on the giant. There’s a few other changes and bug fixes so check these out:

  • Memory optimization
  • Fixed – Localization not working for “ATC_TYPE”, AN225.
  • Fixed – Hangar Description Very Short & Untranslated.
  • Fixed – [Tooltip] [UI] The 5 battery switches have tooltips that are out of order going 5, 1, 2, 3, 4 when the panel labels lists them as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

This is a great reminder to go and check it out which I really need to do soon!
