Eagle Dynamics are starting up the summer sale season with 50% off sale on many modules in DCS World.
There are savings of up to 50% off on some DCS World modules in the summer sale. The sale is offering discounts on modules, terrain, and campaigns. It will be running until the 14th of July 2024 at 15:00 GMT.
The sale is, of course, accompanied by the usual action packed trailer.
Hmmmmm, guess this mean no Chinook until after the sale. Was supposed to come out on the 26th but pretty sure they never release a module during a sale.

They tend not to, no. We also haven’t seen the full feature list nor any introductory videos yet. I wonder if there will be a delay.

DCS: South Atlantic Map looks like the big winner in this sale. Down to $34.99. I feel like that’s the first time it’s been on sale in a long time.
With the upcoming improvements teased on the Razbam discord last week, now might be the time to jump in.
On his discord, BalticDragon hinted that he had heard the patch was going to be delayed a week or so but on the ED forums BigNewy said:
everything patch related depends on QA tests and results for the whole of DCS and its modules, if we did need to move the date due to any issues we would of course let you all know.
Hopefully we don’t see it slide right…lots of great stuff planned for next week if they can make it all happen.
I am looking for the Chinook, but I don’t know if there will be any military use for this chopper in DCS. Hard to avoid Triple A shells, hard to dodge SAM missiles. The only advantage is the experience of piloting a tandem rotor helicopter.
