The folks at FlyByWire have released a new video showcasing the latest work on the Airbus A380 project that the freeware team has been working on over the last few years. The latest showcase is an uninterrupted start-up, flight, and landing in the aircraft.

The nearly 45-minute long video was played behind the FlyByWire presenters at FSExpo this past weekend with live commentary for the audience while the video was playing behind them. The video is showing off the latest work with the developers having touted the integration of avionics into the aircraft including the multi function display (MFD) and the integration of the Onboard Airport Navigation System (OANS). Both can be seen in the video.

As is FlyByWire policy, the volunteer based freeware team does not provide release date estimations. Lots of progress has clearly been made so hopefully the wait is not going to be a long one.
