On Monday we learned that iniBuilds were launching a new team internally to build some non airliner projects. I guessed maybe they were doing a business jet but I was wrong! Instead their first aircraft in the series is none other than the T-33!
A shooting star!

The T-33 is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator! This thanks to the efforts of iniBuilds’s new Premier Aircraft team collaborating with Gregory “Wired” Colyer from Ace Maker Aviation (who have a real T-33) and sim developer veterans SimWorks Studios. SWS supported with systems modeling and some flight modeling for the project. I love a great team up and this sounds good!
The promotions for the project include this trailer as well as a video Q&A with Gregory from Ace Maker Aviation. The Q&A talks about the history of the type as well as a few of the quirks of the airplane.
The aircraft comes with two cockpits with a classic cockpit as well as a modern avionics package for those who want to have that. There’s a mini tablet with the ability to toggle the cockpit as well as add bombs, rockets, flare dispenser, rain cover, chocks, ladder and pins. The weapons will only be on the PC version. It also looks to be coming with a bunch of different liveries including a Canadian scheme that I spotted in the trailer – that’s a win for me!
iniBuilds are targeting a mid-August release for the type and no pricing has been discussed just yet. Read the full announcement here!
