Another DCS World tutorial video is out and in this one we’re learning from Matt Wagner about how to taxi and then takeoff in the CH-47F Chinook which is coming soon. The helicopter can be taxiied on all four wheels or on two wheels in a partial hover. It has wheel steering with a controllable system to direct the helicopter on the ground. Getting airborn appears to be fairly straightforward and Matt Wagner reports that once the more advanced flight control systems are in place the helicopter will be one of the easiest aircraft to fly in DCS. An interesting statement.
