Aircraft developer ToLiss has developed a reputation for creating some of the best Airbus flight simulation products around and they have just revealed a new entry to the series. Their next airplane is the A330-900neo, one of the most modern aircraft in the Airbus line-up. Let’s have a look!
A330neo announced

X-Craft developer ToLiss has just today announced that their next product is the A330-900neo. The aircraft follows a series of A320 releases as well as the A340. All have proven popular with the community and with critics alike. Deep systems simulation, a comprehensive flight save feature, detailed flight management computers, and a custom in-house developed engine model are among all of the aircraft series highlighted features.
The A330-900neo appears to be following the footsteps of earlier products and will include the new DRAIMS radio panels, heads up display, as well as the rest of the A330’s systems.
ToLiss reports that the aircraft is nearly complete and that release is expected this year!
Real world considerations
The aircraft they are modeling is an interesting one too being among the newest in the Airbus line-up. Its not, strictly speaking, a new airplane as its a New Engine Option (NEO) variant of the A330 that is quite similar in many ways to the philosophy employed with the A320neo series. Powered by the Rolls Royce Trent 7000 series, these new significantly larger engines, apparently offer a 12% fuel burn advantage over older Airbus A330 models in real world operations.
It’s currently being operated by Azul, TAP Portugal, Delta, Virgin Atlantic, Cebu Pacific and others. Fans of real world operations, a common requirement among airliner fans, should have some interesting routes to fly.
