If you’re looking for some bush plane flying locations you my want to check out the latest work by Emerald Scenery Designs which brings the developer’s collection of Alaska airstrips up to 2024 standards.

Scenic flying

Four airstrips spread out across three different products have just been upgraded to 2024 standards thanks to four months of work from the developer. The core Emerald Object Library together with Chunilna Cabin Strip, Fort Crosby, and Twentyfive Mile & Limber Lake have all been upgraded.

Current owners can upgrade for free with the developer reporting how to do that through their own webstore:

If you own any of these 3 Alaska airports on the Emerald Scenery Design store, simply log in and add the 2024 version(s) to your cart and it should display as $0!

Updated scenery has been submitted to other storefronts and should be arriving soon.

New purchasers will be able to pick up the 2024 supported versions for $9.99-11.99 USD depending on the specific package.

The scenery is still available for 2020 with some freeware options also helping round out all of the scenery available. Emerald Scenery Designs reports that they are working on the freeware airports for 2024 as well with no ETA available at the moment. Look forward to that too!
