We’ve had a lot of aircraft releases recently and yet another to report on with iniBuilds releasing their new Spartan 7W project for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. It’s executive aviation with 1930s style. Let’s have a look at the features!

Golden era of flying

The folks at iniBuilds have just brought out their Spartan 7W aircraft for MSFS. The airplane was announced last year and it recreates the Spartan 7W Executive build by Spartan Aircraft Company from 1936 to 1940. The all metal design and 450 horsepower Pratt & Whitney R-985 gave the type high performance capabilities for the era. Despite only 36 being built, most of these are still flying today.

Features for the aircraft include classic, modern and hybrid (mixing the two) cabin variations, authentic sounds recorded from a real Spartan 7W by Echo 19 Audio, in-cockpit EFB to control various settings for the aircraft, and some MSFS 2024 specific features such as walk around inspection and enhanced PBR texturing. The aircraft also features the latest flight model systems for both 2020 and 2024 with the 2024 version gaining more still thanks to the enhancements in that sim.
