I’m a sucker for a really good looking scenery pack and iniBuilds have just released one that’s certainly got my attention. No matter if you’re flying in for the expo yourself or transiting their virtually, iniBuilds Providence (KPVD) Premium for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 might be of interest to you. Let’s have a look!
Airport and expo
It’s a smart move by iniBuilds scenery maker team to bring us some scenery of the Providence, Rhode Island (KPVD) airport just ahead of the upcoming FSExpo 2025. The scenery pack includes the usual levels of detail for the airport itself with interior terminal scenery, working jet bridges, over 180 hand-crafted models featuring buildings, vehicles, and objects.

It also packages in the Providence convention centre complete with a model of the show floor. You can see most of the vendors booths and some moderate levels of detail inside the building (Combat Pilot included!). I’ll admit that its pretty cool!

No word on how the performance is with the airport and convention centre all modeled at this level of detail so we’ll have to see what its like but I am certainly intrigued. Will I be virtually flying in? Yeah, I was planning to either way but this will enhance the experience.
iniBuilds Providence (KPVD) Premium for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available for £9.99 GBP right now with a slight introductory discount. Regular price will be £12.99 GBP.
The other KPVD
Out of fairness, there is another scenery maker out there that’s already tackled the airport. Fly2High did the airport previously and it’s available for MSFS 2020 users on the iniBuilds store on Orbx Direct and through various other vendors.
Going to FSExpo 2025?
I’ll also plug FSExpo 2025 which has spurred on this creation. The expo is being hosted this year in the aforementioned Providence Convention Centre. The expo is available both in person and virtually. If you can’t make the in person experience, the virtual one still contains all of the announcements on Friday plus the seminar presentations through Saturday and Sunday – all for $15 USD. Of course, its not as fun as in person but that’s how it goes sometimes. Learn more about FSExpo over here!
