With the end of this year’s Flight Sim Expo, we inevitably turn our attention to plans for next year. We’ve just got the reveal of the new location for next year and it is Minneapolis! Let’s have a look at what they are planning.
New year, new location
The expo is wrapping up and organizer Evan Reiter has just announced that the expo is heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States for next year. The expo has, every year, bounced from location to location. It was in Las Vegas last year and has been in Huston, San Diego, and Orlando in previous years. This year its heading to a more northerly locale.
Evan did answer some questions and is encouraging FSExpo attendees to fill out the surveys about future locations for the expo. There’s also talk about the expo being in Canada in the future depending on community interest.
The organizers reported during the presentation that they always look at the venue locations, the pricing for hotels (trying to keep the pricing down), and securing favourable pricing for the vendors so that they aren’t paying exorbitant rates for things like access to WiFi.
As always, I’ll be reporting on the expo’s announcements as it moves forward for another year.
