The release of the CRJ V2 has really helped to boost the airliner, one of the first released for MSFS 2020, in the eyes of the sim community and it looks like the airliner’s next update is another big one. Introducing changes to the flight model and a whole host of bug fixes, the CRJ looks to be getting another boost. Let’s have a look.
New flight model, new engine model, bug fixes
Several dozen items are listed on the changelog located on the Aerosoft store page for the CRJ V2. Version 2.1.10 lists dozens upon dozens of smaller fixes but the headline feature is word that the aircraft has a new flight model and a new engine model for all of the different versions of the aircraft.
The flight model reportedly makes the aircraft fly more realistically and more naturally.
Other updates include fixes to the autopilot system logic particularly around disconnect and engage. There’s also changes to the avionics, the flight computer, control input systems, and more.
The update is available from the Aerosoft store now, coming very soon to Contrail and will reach the MSFS Marketplace eventually.
