Two new aircraft are set to be added to the IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles Series with an update that is due out tomorrow. The update will undoubtedly come with a few fixes for the whole series while the standout content will be the Yak-1 Series 23 and Yak-3 Series 9 aircraft for Siege and Liberation owners.

Update coming, price going up

A statement from 1C Game Studios posted to social media channels earlier today has announced that the patch is due out tomorrow and that the Yak-1 Series 23 and Yak-3 Series 9 will be coming for “Odessa and Leningrad – Siege and Liberation” owners.

Hey everyone! The Yak-1 Series 23 and Yak-3 Series 9 aircraft for the Siege and Liberation module for Great Battles are planned to be released tomorrow, August 12.

Also, as a reminder, the early access discount will decrease as we add more content. If you plan on purchasing this module, now is a good time to buy it, as the current early access discount is the largest it will be.

The price is planned to increase slightly as content is rolled out and it looks like this next update and content delivery will mark one such occasion where the price will increase. At the moment, its listed as $59.99 USD in early access with $79.99 USD being the expected final price.
