AzurPoly have released several aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator but its their C-160 Transall product that appears to have catapulted them into the limelight. The latest news is that the aircraft has made the leap from 2020 to 2024 bringing along a substantial series of updates and some new features. Let’s have a look!
Transall update

Already available on SImMarket, Contrail, Orbx and Just Flight stores and coming soon to the MSFS Marketplace, AzurPoly’s C-160 Transall transport aircraft is now a MSFS 2024 native product. The aircraft has seen a substantial refactoring of the product using the new modular aircraft technologies available in 2024, supporting the sim’s walkaround mode, and they’ve also tapped Echo 19 for a sound update.
The aircraft now has 16 liveries with military and civilian operators, a wide variety of cargo options, a HUD, FMC, SimBrief flight plan support, GNS430 or GTN 650 (TDS and PMS50), as well as custom visual effects such as propeller dust, fuel dumping, and flare countermeasure deployment.
The updated aircraft has a slick new trailer too.
I reviewed the 2020 version of the aircraft some time ago and came away extremely impressed. Its an outstanding aircraft and one with quite a few quirks, typical of military aircraft, that need a little work to master.
Check out the aircraft on your storefront of choice and visit the AzurPoly Facebook page for further updates.
