Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft developer SimWorks Studios has provided a bunch of updates on their products and are offing a pretty big sale on some of their line-up. Let’s have a look at the latest news!
Kodiak, Airvan, PC-12 and more

One of the items I’m really waiting for is the 2024 native update for SimWorks Studios Kodiak 100. The aircraft has been reassembled according to the developers adding 2024 specific features as well as adding several G1000 features adding systems pages and weight and balance functionality. The updated version is reportedly complete, however, they are adjusting audio to fit the 2024 environment, making cosmetic refinements, and adding dirt and wear effects.
They were hoping for a December launch but its likely to come in January! A small upgrade price is planned.
Meanwhile, PC-12 was updated just a few days ago on December 19 bringing it to 1.6.12. The update is mostly focused on fixing an electrical system bug introduced with SU4 causing them to reset.

The Airvan base version has been added for the MSFS 2024 marketplace and on the SWS website. The SystemsPulse expansion giving the aircraft long term reliability is still working its way through some bugs so expect that to come later. Meanwhile the 2020 version of the same airplane is available with base and SystemPulse.
Some big sales are available right now for most of the SWS product line. The Kodiak, Zenith 701 and PC-12 are on offer for $9.99 USD. While the RV-8, RV-10, RV-14 are available for $4.99 USD each along with the groups Vilar de Luz Airport (LPVL) airport. Discounts are on the MSFS Marketplace and on the SimWorks Studios website.
