Third party developer IndiaFoxtEcho provided a DCS World development update right at the tail end of 2025 and so here we are with a couple of new updates on both the DCS: G.91 and the DCS: MB-339. Let’s have a look at both!
G.91 progressing well

The Fiat G.91, IndiaFoxtEcho’s next DCS World project, is reportedly progressing well as the developer reports in their new status report. They are finalizing aircraft systems, refining the flight model, and report that the 3D model is nearly finished save for a few final details.
The status report doesn’t give us too much else except that they are aiming for a high standard and won’t release until they are ready. My 2026 prediction is that this module will release sometime this year, however, I suspect that it will be mid year before that chance begins to increase. In other words, don’t hold your breath on this one.
The work in progress shots above do look good!
MB-339
There are also updates for the MB-339. The module will be getting support for in-game communications system which is great news. The other update, something more contentious, is the addition of AIM-9 Sidewinder support.
Only the MB-339C model was ever tested with the AIM-9 and for, for a few, the MB-339 we have in DCS getting it wouldn’t be fully accurate. That said, there have been many calls for it to be added anyway and the aircraft’s systems support its addition. Some have also suggested that, had situations been different, that the AIM-9 is a flexible enough platform to have been added to nearly any airframe. For added flexibility, it seems like a great option with scenario makers and server operators obviously having the ability to adjust what is and isn’t available.
I am looking forward to the added options.
