Version 1.0.7 of iniBuilds A340 Airliner is out and the latest update for the airliner project brings with it a new VIP variant of the aircraft with a custom cabin and some interesting interactive features for long-haul flying. The update also includes the customary fixes and updates for the project. Let’s have a look!

Fixes and new variant

One of the world’s largest, long-haul, VIP business jets is now something that you can fly in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 thanks to the latest update from iniBuilds. Their A340-300 simulation has just added the new variant of the aircraft.

The variant has its own custom cabin with quite a few interactive elements. ambient multi-colour lighting, 9 selectable colour themes, two double beds, master bedroom suite, four washrooms with modelled and animated faucets, showers and toilets, as well as interactive doors, reclining lounge seating, and tray tables. If you want to know what it’s like to live the luxury life flying in a four engine VIP jet… iniBuilds will give you a taste of it (before you go back to our regular mundane life anyways).

According to iniBuilds, 1.0.7 also introduces numerous art improvements, refined icing and snow effects, corrected lighting and textures, geometry updates, cleaner cabin interactions, EFB persistence fixes and a new Flight Attendant Panel simulation. The full changelog details systems, art, EFB and sound updates.

  1. One day I would like to see an A340-200 for MSFS 2024. Wouldn’t you?

    1. The A340 doesn’t connect with me as much as the other Airbus models. But if it were done, iniBuilds would probably be best placed to with the -300 being essentially the same.
