Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft developer PMDG have just released the second of four variants in the 737NG series for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The 60% discount continues for owners of the previous product.
The -900 arrives
PMDG’s 737NG series has seen quite a bit of controversy especially post 737-800NG release. The developer had set expectations that the upgrade price would be “a couple of cups of coffee” but when the 60% offer came in putting the 737NG at $30 USD, some found the pricing to be much higher than expected.
The latest version to arrive, the -900, which includes both -900 and -900ER, retains the same upgrade pricing and is thus $20 USD to update. Of course, new customers will pay the full price which is slightly lower for the -900 series at $49.99.
Here’s the message you’ll see on the PMDG website when you go there.

I’ve previously owned the -900 for 2020 and I’ve already done the upgrade so I can check it all out for myself. A review and commentary will be forthcoming but first I need to put it through it’s paces and really find out for myself.
