Checking off another aircraft on the list with a work in progress set of cockpit shots for the F-84E Thunderjet. This is the focus of the 60th developer blog from 1C Game Studios for Korea IL-2 Series. Let’s have a look!

Thunderjet’s cockpit in progress

As in the past, 1CGS have taken the opportunity to show off both the work in progress cockpit and teach us a little about the aircraft in question. The F-84 Thunderjet is a fighter-bomber that is roughly a contemporary of the F-86 and that means that it comes with some extra features like the AN/APG-30 radar rangefinder which works with the gunsight for more accurate aiming.

It’s been shown in previous updates as being able to carry an incredibly large loadout of bombs and rockets so if you’re a mud-mover, this one will probably pique your interest. Next step has typically been the fully textured version so we’ll be looking for that.
