Hong Kong International (VHHH) & City Landmarks for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has officially arrived as one of the larger scenery releases so far this year. That’s not all as the developer has also released what I would suggest is likely one of the largest recent updates to their A300-600R(F). Let’s have a look at both!
Hong Kong scenery pack from iniBuilds arrives
Combining both city landmarks together with one of the world’s largest international hubs, iniBuilds has just released VHHH Hong Kong International for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The airport packages together the usual array of iniBuilds typical features with hand crafted ground textures, bespoke runway, apron and landside modeling, detailed jetways, GSX profile, optimized LODs and built using the latest 2024 SDK features.
Notably, the airport currently has a terminal under construction and iniBuilds are committing to providing a future update when the real world terminal is complete.
Hong Kong’s modern international airport is a sprawling complex with passenger, cargo, helicopter,
Packaged in is Hong Kong City POI with over a dozen recognizable city landmarks including the cities famous ferry system, sky scrapers, helicopter landing pads, and more. Its “free” with the scenery.
Pricing? Steep but typical for scenery packages featuring major international hubs and a city package built in. Its priced at £19.99, €22.95 EUR or $26.72 USD.
A300-600R(F) gets a big update
There are times where I worry that iniBuilds has kind of forgotten their old A300-600R(F) release. It’s been out for a few years and seen a reasonably robust update for MSFS 2024, however, it has had some issues particularly with performance in the newer sim. It looks like they might have solved that with the latest update. Low spec and high spec comparisons are on offer with a jump of anywhere between 10 and 15 fps improvements.

Other updates include the addition of a pause at TOD, time compression improvements, CPDLC compatibility, EFB start-up option improvements, as well as improvements to art, LOD, and sound issues.
