These days it doesn’t seem to matter what Just Flight posts on social media, someone chimes in wondering where the F70 and F100 are at. Well, now we’ve got a dedicated update following the one focused on their A300B4 from last week. The latest gives us a look at what they’ve been doing and some insight into some new features that the developer is putting into this airliner.
Modern systems take time to implement

Up until now, Just Flight’s aircraft roster have been older aircraft. It’s perhaps a bit unusual to think of the Fokker 70 and 100 as being a more modern airliner but when it comes to avionics it really is quite a bit closer to the modern day. Just Flight report that their systems coder has been busy re-writing the VNAV system after the team determined that they weren’t happy with the initial effort. The end is now in sight for that work but you can see how development efforts are not always linear.
Autopilot and FMS are not the only areas that are being worked on. So is the EFB with an all new performance calculator reminiscent of what we see with PMDG and Fenix products. The EFB map will also now show your SimBrief flight plan on the display.
They are also working on the auto cabin crew system. Just Flight have done a great job with cabin crew interaction before and it sounds like this will have even more. Pilot callouts, cockpit to cabin and cabin to cockpit interactions, and a digital music player are all standard. Welcome onboard announcements and safety briefings are included. Its all customizable too so you can replace them with your own if you wish.
The sound set is reportedly complete and we’ve got what can only be called a teaser video below… it just starts to get good when it cuts off. Looking forward to the full video soon hopefully!
