He’s back again with a new DCS World tutorial video focused this time on the Track While Scan (TWS) mode for the DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum. This mode has some interesting features and not everyone, even dedicated MiG-29 flyers, may know some of the intricacies on display. Let’s have a look!
Track and scan!
MiG-29 has quite a few features and learning all of them, like any DCS World module, is a process. Matt Wagner’s latest video goes over how TWS mode works and what it lets you do.
Its possible for the MiG-29 to track up to 10 targets at once with the ability to automatically slew the HUD cursor over the highest threat target and then hold that target. Even better, it can automatically lock once missiles are in range. I see some useful tactical options being unlocked that I, personally at least, didn’t know were possible with the jet. Have a watch!
