Scenery developers Ugra Media are showing off what the seasons are like for DCS: Syria as the map receives yet another substantial upgrade. Let’s have a look.

New seasons, new objects

DCS: Syria is expanding, gaining new points of interest and, as is the current focus, it’s getting seasonal variations where it previously had none. While some parts of the map are firmly arid desert regions with little seasonal variation, other parts of the map will sport vegetation differences (sometimes subtle) as well as changes to the visuals that include snow in the higher elevations.

The above video gives us the same scenes with cuts to show off how the season changes the overall look of the map. Its more subtle than the dramatic differences on say the Caucasus map but it does give DCS: Syria more unique looks at different times. I’m all for it.

And to further drive that point home, Ugra released another video showing off a new set of assets with a ski resort in Lebanon. Looking forward to flying over this updated map.

  1. Syria is the gift that keeps on giving! Ugra definitely deliver the value with their maps. 🙂🤙

also love all those short little videos they put out, but we gotta help that guy learn to handle the Huey 😎

He should get the Gazelle or Kiowa and fly with the doors off. Probably Kiowa since it’s very stable 😁
