Attending in person or virtually? FlightSimExpo 2026 happening this weekend in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and its going to be a big weekend for the hobby as developers, artists, enthusiasts and businesses are all lined-up to share their love of the hobby with the world. We can expect some significant product announcements and updates as well as tutorial sessions, events, and more! I’m sure we’ll see a surprise or two as well. Let’s have a look at what’s coming up and what you should look out for!

Friday

FSExpo Friday is bound to be one of the biggest days of the year for flight simulation as proceedings kick off at 12:00 pm CDT with a free stream from the FlightSimExpo YouTube channel. The organizers have some of the industries biggest names lined-up presenting until 4:30 pm CDT – and I will be covering it with a live-blog continuously updating article throughout the day!

Who is presenting? Well, according to the schedule, we’ll be hearing from Thrustmaster, Parallel 42, SayIntentions.AI, iniBuilds, PlaneEnglish, Combat Pilot, ALTIMETER MOTIVES, BERNOULLI, Navigraph, Virtual Fly, X-Plane, FliteSim.Com, JetCard Virtual Systems, Grinnelli Designs, MOZA, SoFly, Meridian GMT, Microsoft Flight Simulator. Some big names in there so we have that to look forward to!

Saturday and Sunday

Access to other sessions is available for $15 USD for the whole weekend with live streamed and archival videos available after.

There will be some interesting highlights for those watching and those on the show floor including the following:

  • Community-inspired seminars on the FSElite and SayIntentions.AI Stages.
  • The Grinnelli Designs Combat Arena, where attendees can participate in air combat competitions, watch airshow-style performances, and more.
  • National STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) flying workshops, delivered by real-world competition pilots.
  • Aviation Career Mentoring, offered by Professional Pilots of Tomorrow.
  • X-Plane Developer Workshops, where attendees can learn more about coding their own aircraft and scenery in X-Plane.
  • The Media Partner Lounge, featuring meet and greet moments with some of the community’s favorite content creators.

We’re also expecting to find out where next year’s show will be on Sunday, June 14, at 2:30 pm CDT. That will also be live streamed.

Also look out for…

Combat Pilot is going to be at Flight Sim Expo this year, despite the surprising departure of Jason Williams as helm of the project. They are slated to be presenting their latest efforts at roughly 12:54 CDT where they will reportedly be making several big announcements including talk about a release schedule.

Eagle Dynamics WINCTRL, Tobii Eye Tracking, and Heatblur are going to be partnering up for some show-floor action with two “fully equipped DCS cockpits” showing off the latest technology.

Grinnelli Designs have their own booth once again with the FlightSimExpo Combat Arena where you’ll be able to go hands on with the DCS: F-100D with head-to-head combat, team operations, and airshow-style performances.

It should be a great show no matter if you’re there on the show floor or attending from afar!
