Just Flight and Black Square have announced that the next general aviation project from developer Black Square is a rendition of the Rockwell Commander 114. Let’s have a look!

Commander of the skies

Black Square have made some seriously impressive aircraft since emerging onto the scene in the last few years and it looks like there’s another one set to join the collection with a detailed simulation of the Rockwell Commander 114.

The aircraft is coming with two variants: the 1977 Commander 114 and a “aftermarket turbo-normalising package with aftermarket air conditioning” variant. The project features the Black Square tablet, physics-based engine simulation, 15 hot swappable radios, 75+ failures, simulated environmental controls, as well as some all new features like airframe vibration and resonance, nose gear shimmy, and a stormscope.

According to the product page, Black Square are offering this for both MSFS 2020 and 2024.

More information to come soon I’m sure. In the meantime, check out the product page here.

One response to “Black Square announces Commander 114 as next project!”

  1. I just bought the Baron back during the last sale – what a GREAT plane!

The only GA piston single that presently interests me is the A2A Legacy (the FSW is coming along nicely after all those updates 👍), so I’ll be skipping this one.

gotta save money for the BS King Air 😎🤙
