Another highly anticipated airliner release for Microsoft Flight Simulator has gotten a trailer release with the expo on. We’re getting a new overview of what to expect from the A220 as that project trundles on towards a release sometime in the future. Here’s what we’ve seen today!
The latest progress on the 220
A new trailer has me all hyped up about Synaptic Simulations A220 project showing off beautiful visuals, Echo 19 sounds, and touting a whole bunch of features which we can see in operation during the trailer.
They are showing off authentic CAS and system indications, SimBrief, Navigraph and maintenance integration, immersive soundscape, custom fly-by-wire simulation, autoland functionality, emergency descent mode, systems, syntopics, and circuit breakers, and they even show off GSX integration.
All of this seems to suggest that the A220 is picking up the depth and polish that many of us are hoping to see from the twin engine jetliner.
The enter of the trailer states that it is “coming soon.” Some I know have been hoping that the expo would give us a release date, however, with the company having missed prior deadlines by significant margins it seems likely that they are smartly waiting until their ready before announcing any release plans.
More as this develops!
