IL-2 Series Update 0.002 brings with it updates across multiple items

Catching up on the latest with Update 0.002 for IL-2 Series Korea coming out with a list of updates aimed at various parts of the still newly arrived next generation of the IL-2 Series. Some big and some small updates affect a wide swath of the sim’s content. Let’s have a look

Korea gets an update

From visual effects and GUI to gameplay and control profiles, IL-2 Series Korea has received its first early access update following the launch late in June.

The patch is a far reaching update making temporary adjustments to force feedback operation to improve performance, fixing errors in localization, fixing fire effects for several aircraft, and even solving a few annoying issues like the ability to close the Briefing window mid-flight with the same key used to open it.

    when they start working on AI it will get interesting, im looking forward to see how that will change as from videos its having same problems like GB im not interested in SP career where most of my flight is tosted every mission like in GB and on top im stuck with logistic handling

      Agreed. I believe how the AI pilots behave needs to be improved and make a statement that this game has delvered a much needed improvement that Great Battles couldn’t.

        when they make AI believable, they should add option like Clifs had , where you can in MP DF server spawn with AI wingman, that would be good for when they add bomber airplanes also as your no longer solo but in group of airplanes you can control by giving them comands , that should work now in Korea

    I would like to hear how development on Great Battles is going sooner rather than later. I would bet by the end of this month we’ll recieve news on what the GB dev team have been up to.
