DCS World third party developer Heatblur have announced that the DCS: F-14B(U) is scheduled to arrive on July 22nd as part of the next big DCS World update. The announcement comes together with the Steam pre-order opening up for people on that platform. Let’s have a look!

The upgraded Tomcat is about to arrive

Eagle Dynamics are planning to release their next big update for DCS World on July 22nd. The update will, among other things, contain the DCS: F-14B(U) upgrade according to Heatblur Simulations. The upgrade package for the Tomcat is available as either upgrade for current users or as a bundle pack for new purchasers.

Heatblur are listing the upgraded VDIG-R, modernized HUD and PTID, support for JDAM, a new digital control system, ALE-47 countermeasure system with new programmable features, DTC integration, a new in-game browser and a revised Jester AI system as just part of the upgrades on hand. The aircraft is also bundled with new missions and two campaigns as well.

DCS: F-14B(U) by Heatblur Simulations is available from the DCS e-Shop for a promotional $49.99 USD upgrade price for previous DCS: F-14A/B owners and is now newly arrived on Steam. A DCS: F-14 Ultimate Edition bundles the DCS: F-14A/B together with the F-14B(U) for a promotional price of $98.99 USD on the DCS e-Shop and is also now available for pre-order from Steam.
