This one came out a few days ago and I missed it so here we go with a little catch-up! IndiaFoxtEcho are currently developing the Fiat G.91 for DCS World and we’ve got an update on the current status of the project. Let’s go!

Weapons integrated, progress being made

Work continues on IndiaFoxtEcho’s next DCS World module. The G.91 continues to take shape and the latest development diary, coming out on August 2nd, indicates progress across a broad array of systems and features.

Some of the work includes improvements to the electrical system which is now fully mapped out. Electrical paths and loads are now realistically simulated. Similarly, the weapon systems and their stations are now powered and operated according to the actual aircraft’s systems configuration now with internal and external weapons modeled according to the variant chosen (four variants are going to be available with the R/1B, R/3, R/4 and PAN variants).

Work is also now underway on guided weapons. The G.91 can employ the AS-20 Nord, a French made guided missile somewhat similar to the US AGM-12 Bullpup.

Will be keeping an eye on further developments. In the meantime, check out IndiaFoxtEcho on their Facebook page.

  1. I’m sure it will be well made, but not very interested in this plane. The MB-339 is a lot of fun, but this doesn’t look as advanced as far as systems go.

Yeah MB-339 is very good but this appears to be upping the game a fair bit.
