Aircraft & Avionics Update 05 has just come out for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. These updates focus on updates to aircraft and their avionics and in the most recent release we have a few aircraft that have seen some attention including the ATR 42-600 / 72-600, Bell 47J Ranger, Boeing 307 Stratoliner, Curtiss C-46 Commando and Ford 4-AT Trimotor.

Big updates for some classic aircraft

Aircraft & Avionics Update 05 is a relatively big update that comes on the heels of a substantial update for the Boeing 707. This new update comes with a lengthy list of changes for Expert Series 1: ATR 42-600 / 72-600 entirely focused on fixing issues with the aircraft.

The Bell 47J Ranger, Boeing 307 Stratoliner, Curtiss C-46 Commando and Ford 4-AT Trimotor have all seen some significant updates too converting them to the MSFS 2024 framework, revising flight models, instruments, sounds, and adding career compatibility. Some of these aircraft were previously done by Aeroplane Heaven and have now been updated and are listed as iniBuilds developed aircraft instead.
