Flight Simulator aircraft developer Got Friends has just released the Taylorcraft BC-12D for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The aircraft is available for both 2020 and 2024 and packs in a ton of features into what is otherwise a relatively simple airplane. Let’s have a look!
Features galore

Got Friends Taylorcraft BC-12D is finally out! This general aviation aircraft has been in development for quite a long time with the aircraft maker and has now released for both MSFS 2020 and 2024.
This one is packed full of features from detailed cabin, engine, and exterior modeling to the multiple avionics configurations, standard wheels, bush wheels, skis and floats, to over a dozen liveries. A built in EFB “Craft Pad” lets you configure the aircraft’s cockpit configuration (on a per instrument basis), avionics, and various other settings. In walk around mode you can pop the cowling, view the engine, check the oil and fuel levels and hand crank the propeller (optionally). Their “Reactive Motion” technology makes sure that the engine cowlings, doors, grab handles and other elements inside and outside the airplane respond realistically to flight conditions. Forget to close and lock a panel and it may swing open awkwardly in flight.
You can check out the full details here and pickup the airplane exclusively on the MSFS Marketplace. The aircraft is available for $24.99 USD.
A manual and a paint kit are available.
Meanwhile, Taylorcraft BC-12D tester Av8trFord has been busy using the available paint kit to make a bunch of extra liveries too. You can see and download them all here on Flightsim.to.
