The Tecnam P2012 Traveller V2 has just been released by FlightSim Studio AG. The developer, known more recently for their 727 family of airliners, has returned to a product they released a couple of years ago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. This new release is, according to the developer, a complete rebuild of the original. Let’s have a look at it!

The Traveller returns

FSS say that they’ve rebuilt the P2012 Traveller for their V2 release reporting that it has a new interiors and exterior, flight model, state persistence, system behaviour, new sounds, materials, and career support.

The aircraft includes several real world liveries, custom version of the G1000 NXi by Working Title (with custom CAS, engine page, and keyboard), simulated FADEC for the Lycoming TEO 540 C1A, TKS ice protection, and a native MSFS 2024 EFB app. The aircraft now has a total of seven interiors including passenger, combi, cargo, medevac, skydive, special mission, and VIP.

Upgrade pricing is, fortunately, available for previous owners who can get it for €9.95 (plus tax). They say this is a fair trade given the rebuilt nature of the airplane. Its currently available for new purchasers through Aerosoft’s store and it will become available on other storefronts and on the Marketplace over the next couple of weeks.
