Aircraft developer Carenado have shown off screenshots of their latest project. Its a Cessna 206T (Two Oh Six Turbo in Carenado marketing) and it looks to be packed with the usual array of features from the general aviation focused developer. Let’s have a look.

A Cessna for every occasion

Shown off with a cargo pod, floats, and traditional wheels, Carenado are characteristically light on details when it comes to new aircraft releases. That said we can glean from the screenshots that the Cessna 206T that they are doing has the conventional six pack of instrumentation, a GNS530/430 setup (PMS50 and TDS GTN750 has been offered on prior products so I expect it here too), autopilot, and it will likely posses the Carenado RealXperience featureset that includes vibrating needles and other nods to physics based realism.

From the Facebook announcement we have the following:

One aircraft. Countless missions.

Discover the power and unmistakable personality of the CT206G, coming soon to MSFS 2024.

If past releases are any indication, this aircraft will likely arrive in the next several weeks with the MSFS 2024 release coming first and a MSFS 2020 release following several weeks after that. Xbox and PlayStation releases are also likely.

  1. They have a highly diversified portfolio of aircraft for P3D.

I sure do wish they’d do more turboprops and jets.

the regular stream of vanilla light props like this doesn’t inspire me…🤷‍♂️

    1. Yeah yet another Cessna doesn’t seem all that exciting. It must be profitable for them!
