One of Microsoft Flight Simulators most popular airliner products, the Fenix Simulations A320ceo, has just been updated to version 3 with an extensive array of updates, changes, fixes and improvements. If you currently own the aircraft, the V3 update is completely free. Let’s have a look!
Changes across all categories
From the flight model, computers, and warning systems to engines, EFB and autopilot, Fenix Simulations has extensively updated their popular A320ceo for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer, though busy with their follow-on A320neo project, has indicated that they are prioritizing existing customers first with this update.
New stand-out features include a new Active Noise Cancellation system for the cockpit to keep the noise down but let important notifications in, a new flight attendant panel in the cabin, more realistic ECAM warnings and alerts, updated engine modeling (including FADEC) for both CFM56 and IAE V2500 engines and a new Auto TOGA option, improved ground handling, new EFB features, and more.
The change log, well over 4,000 items long, has been summarized and is available on the Fenix website. There’s also a 2-hour long video detailing everything changed.
