The first Deck Ops DLC aircraft continues to take shape for Korea IL-2 Series with the latest developer diary showing off some pre-rendered images of the aircraft’s cockpit. Let’s have a peek at it.
Panther preview
1C Game Studios likes to show off what their artists have been doing and the latest example of that is with the F9F-2 Panther and several pre-rendered images for the aircraft which you can see above.
The Panther has already been shown in-sim but we haven’t seen the cockpit until now.
Most of the dev update is an examination of the equipment in the cockpit and descriptions of what it was like. The Panther cockpit was, for example, apparently more cramped than the one in the F-86. It did notably have a K-14 Mark 8 gunsight tuned to the ballistics of the type’s four 20mm cannons.
