It’s the Lunar New Year tomorrow and that’s an occasion for another IL-2 and Rise of Flight sale. The sale starts today and goes until February 19th. I have all of the details right here.
Sales on nearly everything IL-2 related
Let’s break this sale down into a few different parts. First, two IL-2: Great Battles titles are on sale:
- Battle of Moscow – 50% off
- Battle of Stalingrad – 50% off
Next, all of the available Collector Planes that are not in pre-order are also on sale:
- FW190A-3 – 50% off
- La-5 (Series 8) – 50% off
- P-40E-1 – 40% off
- MC.202 – 40% off
- Ju52/3m – 40% off
- Yak-1B – 40% off
Finally, both IL-2 Scripted Campaigns are on sale. 10 Days of Autumn (review here) is available for 50% off the regular price and Blazing Steppe (review here) is now 33% off the regular price.
Some of these sales are available on Steam but all of them are available to you on the IL-2 website store (regardless of whether you bought them on Steam or not).
Of course, IL-2: Battle of Kuban is still discounted by $10 right now as its in pre-order/early access right now. We’ve learned from the e-mail that was sent out today by 1CGS that release may be approaching. More on that in another article.
Blitz now on sale too
For the firs time since it was re-released, IL-2: Cliffs of Dover is on sale on the Steam store and on the website. At 25% off, IL-2 Cliffs of Dover is a pretty good deal at $18.75 although not as good a deal as it once was (running for $9.99 at times).

Everything on sale for Rise of Flight
Everything in the Rise of Flight store is currently 66% off right now. You can pick up a lot of planes for very cheap already and with the 66% off sale, you can get quite a lot for only a few dollars. Most fighters and attack planes are on for $1.69 each.
Or you might want to save your money and wait for IL-2: Flying Circus which will likely enter early access sometime this year.
