DCS autumn sale arrives Wednesday

Eagle Dynamics autumn sale is coming Wednesday and that means some substantial discounts on a whole bunch of DCS World modules. Here’s what we know from the announcement made earlier today!

Sale prices on nearly all DCS World modules

It’s expected that Flaming Cliffs 3 and the DCS: MiG-29 module contained within it will be part of the sale.

Starting on November 21st  (this Wednesday), you’ll be able to buy 50% off the regular price on nearly all DCS World modules except for some in early access. The sale price includes types that have been around for a while such as Flaming Cliffs 3, the A-10C and the Nevada map (which recently got a nice new trailer) and for other somewhat more recent modules too.

There are some exceptions:

  • DCS: F/A-18C Hornet at 25% off
  • DCS: Persian Gulf Map at 25% off
  • UH-1H Argo Campaign at 20% off
  • DCS: SA342 Gazelle at 15% off

At 25% off on the DCS: F/A-18C and DCS: Persian Gulf, we’re seeing the deepest discounts that Eagle Dynamics is willing to offer on these new modules.

Flying the F/A-18C Hornet over Dubai is some of the most fun I’ve had in a flight sim.

The sale will last until December 2nd so you’ll have some time to figure out if you want to buy anything. It is also likely that Eagle Dynamics will be offering sale prices on Steam for buyers of DCS World titles there. That sale also begins Wednesday.

The latest sale comes with a trailer to help you get hyped up.

I have just purchased the Yak-52 for $20, it seems like a reasonable price when you compare it to a spin in the real thing: in the little airport near my hometown they ask about $350 for a 20 minute ride in a Yak-52.

Not that the two things could actually be compared of course, I was just saying.

Oh yes. The price to entertainment ratio is excellent!
